Biography

 

Isabelle is a Los Angeles based composer, graduate from the prestigious Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television program out of USC. With long experience in composing and producing music for multiple projects – films, video games, TV, commercials, trailers and other media.  

   For many years, Isabelle studied at The Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where she received both a Bachelor Degree in Music and Media Production and a Master Degree in Film Music Composition – in collaboration with the Academy of Dramatic Arts.

   2012, Isabelle scored the documentary “Clown Medicine” which got selected at Cannes Film Festival and Tempo Film Festival, Stockholm. Multiple projects Isabelle has composed for have been selected to numerous festivals such as Stockholm Film Festival and shown at Swedish and European Television.

Isabelle has been rewarded multiple scholarships and grants for her music development and for further studies, such as a scholarship from the Anders-Zorn-fellow fond (Sweden-America Foundation). Also received high recommendations from among others Garry Schyman, the international successful game composer (“Bioshock”, “Shadows of Mordor”). She recently was awarded Vastmanlands Cultural Grant in the music category, Sweden. 

With a broad experience of recording with Hollywood musicians at studios such as Warner Brothers and The Bridge, Isabelle can bring her broad expertise to every specific project.

   Current projects she has been composing for are mobile games for the LA based company Somatone Interactive Inc., Xbox in collaboration with FitLife Production and an upcoming horror feature film (“Murder In The Woods). She also recently wrote additional music for the feature “Trent”, composed by Justin Bell (one of the composers for the NetFlix series “Sense 8”). Next up is a pilot in collaboration with the splendid director Marko Slavnic and Sony Pictures/Ekko media, a company creating interactive content. 

Recently, Isabelle was featured on SKAP's website, which is the prestigious and largest organisation in Sweden for Composers and Lyricists - with an exclusive article as well a live interview, webinar, which you can find on their Facebook site. Isabelle has also during 2016 been featured in the number one top music magazine online in Sweden: Studio, with several articles and in depth advices on how to compose and produce music at a top level!
